Music to Help You Focus … Daniel-San
In the immortal words of Mr. Miyagi, “You stay focused. Daniel-san, you best karate still inside you. Now time let out!” Let that sit for a minute.
Many of us don’t have Mr. Miyagi (Karate Kid) to help us focus, so I have an alternative, music. A certain type that is.
Some may think an agile mindset means that you constantly switch from one task to the other, after all, that sounds like agility. This is not the way I think of it. Quite the opposite, if anything I am more focused on completing tasks until they are finished/done before moving onto the next highest priority task. I still struggle with multitasking, I am sure many of you do as well, it is nearly impossible with the bombardment of information and demands we are constantly under.
Something I have found recently to help with focus is a great channel on Spotify. The first time I tried it, I was amazed at how much stuff I got done in a short amount of time. It really helped me stay on task and not get distracted. Below is a link to the channel. I have also listed some of my personal favorites. Give it a try.
Deep Focus on Spotify.
